Project Description
The redesign and restructure of the ASHA Leader just won an Honorable Mention from the prestigious FOLIO: Ozzie Awards. The Leader was formerly a tabloid sized publication that was published 15x a year. The size was changed to a cost-effective standard web size and the punishing frequency was reduced to 12x per year. The content was restructured from cover-to-cover to better align with the evolving needs of their membership as well as to better connect with content outside of the print space.
Some of the new content includes:
• our favorite is a new department called “Overheard,” which is a slice of a conversation on a specific topic;
• a new department that visualizes the valued data that ASHA collects about the profession;
• sharing blogs and other online sources of content by specific topics.
